WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO ATTEND PITT MEDICINE:
I wanted to come here since I attended a summer program during high school. Plus, my family is in the city and I love Pittsburgh. Couldn't imagine being anywhere else.
DESCRIBE YOUR LIFE AS A MEDICAL STUDENT AT PITT MED:
Awesome. It's a lot of work but it's something I've always wanted to do. I still feel like I have time for friends and enjoyment, and the medicine is really interesting.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE PITT MEDICINE COMMUNITY:
Very inclusive. Everyone works so well together and helps each other. We're all nerds but we are nerd together.
WHAT STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS ARE YOU INVOLVED IN:
OPALs, Neurology interest group
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WITH YOUR SPARE TIME:
Read, play video games, rock climb, play DnD, camp, whittle.
DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR STUDENTS APPLYING TO PITT MEDICINE:
Be interesting. Do interesting things, find new experiences, and let those experiences affect you.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT BEING IN THE CITY OF PITTSBURGH:
I love the whole city. Each neighborhood has something special to offer, you just have to search for it. Favorite tea place is Dobra Tea in Squirrel Hill.

ANY FINAL ADVICE FOR ACCEPTED STUDENTS:
Be involved with your class. Don't just sit in the library or your room and study. Go out with classmates, complain about school, have some fun. You need to enjoy this experience because it's the last time you'll be in medical school (hopefully).
