Welcome to the 2021 Second Look Virtual Event! Here you will find information about registering for the virtual events, what the Second Look Coordinators have planned, and get your questions answered in the Frequently Asked Questions section below!
All admitted students have been sent an email with the required registration link (please check your spam / junk folder if you did not receive). Registration will open on April 13, 2021 (2:00 PM EST) and will close on April 19, 2021 (11:59 PM EST). Any questions about registering can be sent to the Second Look Coordinators (firstname.lastname@example.org), posted on the Second Look Facebook Group page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/455573538793980) or sent to the Admissions & Financial Aid Office (412-648-9891 or email@example.com).

SECOND LOOK FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long is the Second Look experience?
The full Second Look Program will take place over several days: the Feature Presentation, Discovery Sessions & virtual Happy Hour with Trivia Game will take place on Friday, April 23 and then various optional information sessions will be available in the evenings of Monday April 26 to Wednesday April 28. Newly admitted students can register and attend as many of the sessions as their schedule will allow.
How do I find more information about the Discovery Sessions and how do I sign up?
The Second Look Coordinators have planned various medical school activities for you to participate in during the virtual event. The registration process will provide a list of the Discovery Sessions available along with a brief description and if the session has a limited capacity. Guests will be able to register for the Discovery Session that interests them. The sessions will be on a first come first serve basis until capacity reached. In addition, you MUST register for EVERY optional information session you wish to attend (or have an interest in no matter if you can attend or not). You will NOT be able to add sessions later! You can cancel at any time but you will not be able to add sessions if your schedule opens up! This is to ensure you receive the meeting information and passcodes via email.
Is there anything I need to do ahead of time?
YES – registration for the Second Look Program is required. All Zoom meeting information and passcodes will be sent via email 48 hours prior to the Feature Presentation to all registrants.
Is there anything mandatory?
Nothing is mandatory - all activities are optional but attendees are expected to participate in the sessions and events if they register to attend. If unable to attend a session(s), we ask you to let the Office of Admissions or the Second Look Coordinators know of your circumstances.
Will any of the sessions be recorded for viewing at a later time?
